The Vamps

Everyone has a guilty pleasure. Something you won't want people to know about you because you'd be embarrassed for it. The ones that it's ok if some people know about it because they get it but if everyone knew you'd be mortified. I've learned over the years to just embrace it and love what I love and screw what other people think. My not so guilty pleasure is a good old pop band. 

Last night I saw The Vamps for the 8th time. They supported McFly in 2013 and since them i've saw them as support for McFly, The Wanted, McBusted, Fusion Festival & finally on their own headline show.

How do you celebrate this momentous occasion? Nando's of course.

We arrived at the venue ready for a night of sing alongs and good times and I wasn't disappointed. It's just been over a year or so since the first time I saw them and they've grown as a band to the point you'd think they'd been doing it forever. 

I'm not gonna lie I felt old when I got into the venue so when Brad asked everyone before their cover of My Chemical Romance who was a teenager I wanted the ground to swallow me up, but I embraced it and sung along trying to relive my past emo life. 

I'm a sucker for confetti cannons so as they finished with Can We Dance, confetti covering the crowd, the entire bottom floor crowd surged to the front to get that little bit closer to their favourite band I couldn't help but think this is only the start of what The Vamps have got to show us!

Bring on the arena tour next year!

Meet the pups

Seeing as i'm probably going to be posting a lot about these two cuties I figured they deserved a post all to themselves


This is Perry, he's a 4 year old working cocker spaniel. The sweetest of dogs and so loving. He's my sleeping buddy and makes me smile on a daily basis. He's crazy (I think he must have whacked his head too many times as a puppy) He steals my shoes, makes himself far too comfortable and brings you all ball any time you ask. I wouldn't have him any other way!

And this is Emmie, she's 1 & and a half. The gentle giant. I only need to look at her and I get all warm and fuzzy. You know when you love something so much you just want to squeeze it? Yup. She doesn't run she gallops. She loves treats and knows exactly where we hide the treat jar.

Hello Blogging World

Hi Guys!

I've been lurking about blogs for years but I finally caved and decided to make one for myself.
As a sort of "get to know me" I've decided to make my first post a 25 facts about me :)

Here I go I guess..

1. My dream job is to be a dog trainer.

2. I have a major sweet tooth...mmm...chocolate.

3. My favourite time of year is Autumn.

4. I'm vegetarian and really proud of it.

5. I used to be painfully shy, I'm still really quiet just no where near what I used to be like.

6. I travelled to California in May this year and fell in love with Santa Monica.

7. On nights out I always end up being "the sensible one" and look after everyone.

8. I love to sing at the top of my lungs in my car, but only when i'm alone.

9. I work in a crappy retail job, the day I finally leave will be amazing.

10. I really enjoy bike rides by myself with my iPod on.

11. One of my most favourite things to do is to go to gigs with my friends.

12. My favourite band has always been McFly. I couldn't even begin to explain how much they mean to me or how many times i've seen them! (20+)

13. I try my best to be a really good friend and I like to think I am

14. My dogs are my favourite things in the world

15. I've travelled to most of the major UK cities for concerts

16. I enjoy baking and GBBO is amazing.

17. I try my best to avoid arguments. I absolutely hate them.

18. I will always have a soft spot for Disney. Peter Pan is my favourite.

20. I'm easily scared. Scary movies make me so scared I sleep with the light on for days after I watch one.

21. I only wear make-up when I feel like I need to make an effort

22. I dropped out of college/uni because I HATED what I was studying

23. When I was in high school I used to be an emo

24. When I was born my brother gave me his fireman Sam teddy, I still have it and I can't wait to one day give it to my own child.
